Overview

The Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle) was appropriated $5 million from the California Beverage Container Recycling Fund to support workforce development from AB179.  The goal of the Program is to provide employment and training opportunities for a new workforce to provide California Consumers with convenient opportunities to redeem California Redemption Value (CRV). Private entities must be authorized to conduct business in the State of California, by either being registered with the California Secretary of State as a business located in California, being registered as a foreign (out–of–state or out–of–country) business or processing a business license issued by a California city, county, or city and county.
