Veterans Support to Self-Reliance

Overview

The California Department of Veterans Affairs (CalVet) is announcing the availability of approximately $3 million to provide consultation, administrative support, and technical assistance to CalVet for the Veteran Support to Self-Reliance Pilot Grant Program.  The successful Proposer will provide clear and convincing evidence of adequate personnel and organizational capacity to effectively carry out a contract of this scope and magnitude. Purpose This Pilot seeks to discover the size and scope of resources needed to fill the gap of supportive services for veterans aged 55 and over.
