Overview

Tribal HHAP provides flexible funding to California Federally Recognized Tribes for a variety of unique, culturally responsive interventions to prevent and address homelessness in their communities. The California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) is pleased to announce the availability of approximately $28.5 million in Tribal Homeless Housing, Assistance and Prevention (Tribal HHAP) grant funding. These funds are available for California Federally Recognized Tribes and are designed to be flexible to meet the unique needs of each community in their goals to prevent and end homelessness.
