Overview

The Tire-Derived Product (TDP) Grant Program promotes markets for recycled-content products derived from waste tires generated in California and decreases the adverse environmental impacts created by unlawful disposal and stockpiling of waste tires. Eligible applicants include: • Public entities include:     o California cities     o counties     o public school districts     o public colleges and universities     o special districts     o park or recreational districts     o state agencies (including offices, departments, bureaus, and boards)     o Qualifying Indian Tribes. • Eligible Products: Tire-derived products (TDP) must be made from only California-generated waste tires, processed in California and manufactured into a final product in California.
