Overview

​The purpose of this funding is to provide support and services to victims and survivors of hate incidents and hate crimes and their families, to facilitate hate incident or hate crime prevention measures, and to create more inclusive regional and local communities, especially for those who are historically vulnerable because of their racial, ethnic, religious, gender identity/gender expression, sexual orientation, disability or other identities. Funding will be awarded to qualified nonprofit organizations to provide direct, prevention and intervention services to populations who have experienced or are at greatest risk of experiencing incidents of bias and hate crimes. Funded organizations will receive funds for a 2-year service term beginning 07/01/2023.
