State Water Efficiency and Enhancement Program (SWEEP) – Block Grant Pilot

Overview

This Block Grant Pilot solicitation will provide funding to organizations to further disburse to agricultural operations. CDFA aims to support regional capacity building and provide opportunities for regional strategic use of SWEEP funding to address local concerns regarding water conservation and water efficiency. In summary, awardees of the program will: 1) provide technical assistance to farmers in development and implementation of irrigation projects, 2) identify on-farm projects for financial support and disburse funds, 3) Support and verify on-farm project implementation, 4) provide reporting and invoicing.
