State Charter School Facilities Incentive Grants Program (CFDA 84.282D)

Overview

This federally-funded grant assists high-performing charter schools in offsetting the costs of acquisition, construction, and renovation of charter school facilities as well as funding for rent, lease, Prop 39 pro-rata payments, mortgage, and debt service payments. This is a competitive grant that provides assistance with facility costs to high-performing charter schools in underserved communities. At least 80% of the instructional time offered by the charter school must be at the school’s site.   Funds are made available in funding rounds, beginning with the opening of an application period. The application period is noticed on the CSFA website and by notice sent via the CSFA ListServ.
