Overview

The Rural Recreation and Tourism Program will create new recreation opportunities within rural communities to support health-related and economic goals.  Grants will funds construction of parks.  Both acquisition of land and development of land is eligible. This program is funded by Proposition 68 (2018 Bond Act), which is found in Public Resources Code §80090(a)(b). Projects will develop new recreation opportunities within rural communities to support health-related and economic goals.  Projects will create, expand, or improve parks to support the health of local community residents, and, attract out of town visitors.  for more information, see the "Application Guide" at www.parks.ca.gov/rrt
