Prohousing Incentive Pilot
Overview
The PIP program provides funds to assist local governments with Prohousing Designation to accelerate affordable housing production and conservation. The Prohousing Incentive Pilot Program is a competitive funding program designed to award cities and counties that earn Prohousing Designation by March 30, 2023. Cities and Counties that meet threshold requirements are sorted by geography (available funds per region are based on population) then ranked by Prohousing Designation Score. Award amounts are set out in Program Guidelines and determined by population size and Prohousing Designation Score. Highest scoring jurisdictions will be awarded funds ranging in amounts from $105,000 and $5 million until the coffer is depleted. Eligible Uses Any eligible uses pursuant to Health and Safety Code...
