Local Housing Trust Fund (LHTF) Program
Overview
The California Department of Housing and Community Development's (HCD) Local Housing Trust Fund (LHTF) Program provides matching funds to local and regional housing trust funds dedicated to the creation, rehabilitation, or preservation of affordable housing, transitional housing and emergency shelters. The LHTF program provides Matching Grants to Local Housing Trust Funds established by cities and counties, Native American Tribes and incorporated 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations.
