Overview
Finance the new construction, rehabilitation, and acquisition of owner-occupied and rental units for agricultural workers, with a priority for lower income households. This NOFA provides grants, deferred-payment loans, or a combination thereof, for the construction and rehabilitation of housing for agricultural workers and their families. To be eligible to apply for funding, the applicant shall be a local public entity, nonprofit corporation, limited liability company, or limited partnership, duly constituted governing body of an Indian reservation or rancheria or a tribally designated housing entity, having sufficient capacity (including financial resources, an office, staff, and payroll) and experience to carry out the proposed project as set forth in California Code of Regulations...
