Hybrid and Zero-Emission Truck and Bus Voucher Incentive Project (HVIP)
Overview
The project will fund commercialized zero-emission on-road technologies, facilitate GHG emission reductions, and further the purposes of AB 32, the more recent Senate Bill (SB) 32 (Pavley, Chapter 249, Statutes of 2016), which codified a 2030 GHG emissions reduction target of 40 percent below 1990 levels, SB 1 (Beall, Chapter 5, Statutes of 2017), and related statutes. The California Air Resources Board (CARB or the Board) is soliciting a Grantee to implement and administer the Hybrid and Zero-Emission Truck and Bus Voucher Incentive Project (HVIP) for Fiscal Year (FY) 2022-23 with an option to renew for a new Grant Agreement for each of the following two years for FY 2023-24 and FY 2024-25.
