Overview

The purpose of the HSGP for State Agencies (FY 2021 State Agency RFP) is to assist state agencies in building or sustaining security enhancement projects that support statewide preparedness and resiliency. Projects must address high-priority preparedness gaps, and contribute to the state agencies capability to prevent, protect, mitigate against, respond to, or recover from acts of terrorism. Each year, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS)/Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) announces a Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) for the Homeland Security Grant Program (HSGP).
