Overview

The California Energy Commission’s (CEC) Clean Transportation Program announces the availability of up to $30 million in grant funds for projects that will design, construct, and operate publicly available medium- and heavy-duty (MDHD) zero-emission vehicle (ZEV) hydrogen refueling and/or charging infrastructure along designated corridors in disadvantaged communities or low-income communities, collectively known as priority populations. In order to accelerate actions to mitigate climate change, Governor Newsom signed Executive Order (EO) N-79-20 in September 2020 and set targets for 100 percent of drayage trucks to be zero emission by 2035, and 100 percent of MDHD vehicles to be zero emission by 2045, for all operations where feasible.  Solicitation objectives include:   ·      ...
