Overview

This is a competitive grant solicitation. The California Energy Commission (CEC) announces the availability of up to $40,500,000 in grant funds for projects that will strategically deploy high-powered direct current fast charger (DCFC) electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure and establish an interconnected network to facilitate data collection, access, and reliability. President Joseph R. Biden Jr. signed the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) into law in November 2021 (Public Law 117-58).
