Overview

The purpose of this solicitation is to seek a block grant implementer to design and implement up to $100 million in grant funds for projects that will promote in-state battery manufacturing for zero-emission vehicles and related infrastructure. This is a competitive block grant solicitation. The CEC’s Fuels and Transportation Division is seeking a block grant implementer to design and implement up to $100 million in grant funds for projects that will promote in-state battery manufacturing for zero-emission vehicles (ZEV) and related infrastructure.
