Foster Youth Services Coordinating Program Technical Assistance Provider

Overview

The California Department of Education (CDE), in accordance with Education Code Section 42926, has been directed to select a FYSCP TAP to administer the county FYSCPs for the 2025-2028 cycle. The FYSCP TAP receives annually five percent of the Foster Youth Budget Act authority. These funds are issued through a Request for Application. This application covers the grant period beginning July 1, 2022 and ending June 30, 2025. The total grant budget for this Request for Applications (RFA) is approximately $1.3 million per year and is contingent upon the annual State Budget Act. The FYSCP TAP is selected for a term ending no later than June 30, 2025. Annual review of the FYSCP TAP effort is required for continued funding.
