Overview

The Fertilizer Research and Education Program (FREP) funds and facilitates research and education to advance the environmentally safe and agronomically sound use and handling of fertilizing materials. FREP serves growers, agricultural supply and service professionals, extension personnel, public agencies, consultants, and other interested parties. Each year, FREP solicits proposals for outreach, education, demonstration, and research projects that address FREP's funding priorities. Grant funding of $75,000 per year for up to three years is available in the 2024 grant cycle.
