Federal Lands Access Program (FLAP)
Overview
Intent of the FLAP Grant program is to provide access to, are adjacent to, or are located within Federal Lands that are owned or maintained by a State, County, Local Government, or Tribe. The FLAP program funds projects that provide access to, are adjacent to, or are located within Federal Lands that are owned or maintained by a State, County, Local Government, or Tribe. Priority will be given to projects accessing high-use Federal recreation sites or Federal economic generators. The program intends to supplement state and local resources for public roads, trails, transit systems, and other transportation facilities.
