Overview
The Department of Fish and Wildlife distributes federal funds for threatened and endangered species conservation and recovery through the Endangered Species Conservation and Recovery Grant Program in coordination with the US Fish and Wildlife Service. The primary objective of this Program is to help develop and implement state programs to conserve and recover federally threatened and endangered species. The Department of Fish and Wildlife (Department) is seeking high quality proposals for projects that will further the conservation and recovery of federally listed threatened and endangered wildlife, plant, and certain fish species in California.
