Geography Funding amounts per geographic funding category will be based on the statutory requirements for how funds are to be allocated for the After School Education and Safety (ASES) and 21st Century Community Learning Centers (CCLC) and will be based on the percentage of students that qualify for FRPM compared with the statewide total number of students, per geographic category.

Overview

The purpose of the Emergency and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) III Summer Grant Program is to implement evidence-based summer enrichment programs, and ensure such programs respond to students' academic, social, and emotional needs and address the disproportionate impact of the corona-virus on the student populations, students experiencing homelessness, and children and youth in foster care. We are accepting a second round of applications. Sites awarded in the first round are not eligible to apply for any additional funding from this grant. Schools must be an After School Education and Safety (ASES) or 21st Century Community Learning Center (CCLC) grantee and have verifiable Free and Reduced Price Meals (FRPM) data for 2020-21 through the California Longitudinal Pupil...
