Overview

The purpose of the EVITP Fund is to train and certify electricians to install electric vehicle charging equipment statewide. ETP is administering the Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Training Program (EVITP) Fund 1.5 in collaboration with the California Energy Commission (CEC) and is pleased to announce the availability of approximately $934,702 in funding to increase the number of electricians certified through EVITP within California. The purpose of the EVITP Fund is to train and certify electricians to install electric vehicle charging equipment statewide.
