Overview

The purpose of the EVITP Fund is to train and certify electricians to install electric vehicle charging equipment statewide. The Employment Training Panel in collaboration with the California Energy Commission is excited to announce the availability of up to $2.7M in Clean Transportation Program funds for the Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Training Program (EVITP) Fund to increase the number of electricians certified through the Electric Vehicle Training Program within California.
