Overview

Help build the statewide eBook collection and develop a collection of materials that meet the diverse set of reading needs of all of California. Help build the statewide eBook collection! Applications will open on May 15th and must be submitted by June 20th at 12:00 noon Pacific. The California State Library invites public libraries to apply for funding to build our shared statewide collection of eBooks and eAudiobooks, accessible to every library in the state.  The collection, currently consisting of over 100,000 copies of over 36,000 titles, is designed to meet the recreational and informational reading needs of California’s diverse communities.
