Overview

These grants fund storytelling installations or materials that authentically convey historically excluded communities’ perspectives and relationships to the outdoors and coast. The Conservancy’s Coastal Stories Grant Program will be providing grants to tribes, nonprofit organizations, and public agencies to create storytelling installations or materials (such as murals, signage, or monuments) that represent communities and voices that have been historically excluded from the storytelling on California’s coast and publicly accessible lands.
