Overview

The 2023 NOFA,approximately $19 million of federal funds was made available for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program only for applications from projects that remain on the wait-list established for Over-the-Counter projects after the 2019-2020 NOFA. This amendment makes another $19 million for Housing, Community Development and Economic Development Projects in and Over-the- Counter process. Under this NOFA amendment, CDBG funds are provided as grants to Non-Entitlement Units of Local Government for project applications for CDBG eligible activities for Housing, Community Development and Economic Development Projects in and Over-the-Counter process.   All CDBG activities must meet one of the following National Objectives:  -Benefit low- and moderate-income persons  -Aid in...
