Overview

The purpose of the Assisted Outpatient Treatment (AOT) program is to implement AOT in communities to support adults with serious mental illness who meet state-specific criteria for AOT.

Funding Information

Total estimated funding: $10,000,000 for approximately 16 awards

Eligibility Requirements

  • Eligibility is statutorily limited to States, counties, cities mental health systems (including state mental health authorities), mental health courts, or any other entity with authority under the law of the state in which the applicant grantee is located to implement, monitor, and oversee AOT programs.
