Overview

The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has established a competitive grantprogram to support and advance the recovery and rehabilitation of injured, sick, ororphaned wildlife, and conservation education. Funds may be used to support facilityoperations, improvement and/or innovation in animal care (e.g., enclosure design, dietaryand/or behavioral enrichment; veterinary treatment; post-release monitoring). ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:To be eligible for grant funding from the competitive grant program established pursuant to Section 1773.1, an applicant shall meet all of the following criteria:(a) Provide proof that it is a nonprofit organization that operates a wildlife rehabilitationfacility permitted pursuant to Section 679 of Title 14 of the California Code of Regulations; or as...
