Overview

The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has established a grants program to support and advance the recovery and rehabilitation of injured, sick or orphaned wildlife in the state. Funds may be used to support operations, ongoing facility needs, innovation in wildlife care (e.g. rehabilitation techniques, enclosure designs, diet, behavioral enrichment); post-release monitoring, surveillance, data analysis; and conservation education.
