Overview

The purpose of the XS Program is to fund a Sexual Assault Counselor, per Evidence Code §1035.2, to act as a Sexual Assault Response Team (SART) Advocate to take a role in the planning and coordinating of SART efforts in their community with the goal of improving the quality of, response to, and services for, sexual assault victims. To be eligible to receive funds, the entity must:1. Be a Cal OES-funded Rape Crisis (RC) Program Subrecipient.2. Receive a minimum of 50% of available points on the Rating Sheet.3. Applicants applying for federal funds must be registered in the federal System for Award Management (SAM) and have an expiration date that is at least eight weeks after the Application due date.
