Overview

To support building or sustaining security enhancement projects that fall within one of the Cal OES HSGP Investment Justifications. Statewide preparedness activities must address high-priority preparedness gaps across one or more of the 32 core capabilities, in addition to requiring a direct nexus to the Prevention, Protection, Mitigation, Response, or Recovery from acts of terrorism. Each year, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS)/Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) announces a Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) for the Homeland Security Grant Program (HSGP).
